Cardio Respiratory Department

The Cardio Respiratory Department is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm and can be found between ward 7 and the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on the first floor. A comprehensive range of cardiology and respiratory diagnostic tests are offered. Many of these are offered to GP practices. Cardiology and respiratory clinics are held at outlying clinics which include Knutsford, Handforth and Congleton War Memorial Hospitals. The clinics are supported by the department to provide ECG and Spirometry cover. A weekend Electrocardiograms (ECG).ECG service is also offered for two and a half hours each day to provide ECG cover for the medical wards.
