Cycle to Work Scheme

Do you want to save money, get fit and save the environment all at the same time?

Why don’t you ditch the car and get on your bike with our fantastic Cycle to Work Scheme.

Bikes in the bike shed

East Cheshire NHS Trust has teamed up with OnYourBike to offer huge savings on the cost of a new bike for anyone who cycles to work or who would like to start cycling to work.

These savings have been made possible by the government’s 'Green Transport Plan'. The plan aims to get more people out of cars and onto bikes by offering generous tax benefits on cycles and associated safety equipment

Trust cycling facilities

The trust has a number of lockable cycle shelters available for staff.  The cycle shelters are sited up by Orthopaedics, next to Ingersley South, Cooper Building and outside of A & E; there is also an open cycle shelter in the rear car park next to the portacabin.

Located on the service corridor are the male and female changing facilities.  If you cycle to work and require access to the changing facilities, please contact extension 1616 and your ID badge will be activated to give you access to the changing facilities
