Macclesfield District General Hospital, a modern, purpose built hospital, was opened in the 1980s, replacing a much older, traditional infirmary.

Macclesfield District General Hospital aims to be the hospital of choice for residents of Eastern Cheshire and neighbouring areas and aim to provide safe, efficient and effective care in a clean and friendly environment. The trust is based at Macclesfield District General Hospital. We also provide inpatient care at Congleton War Memorial Hospital and Knutsford District Community Hospital.
