When it comes to your sexual health there's a lot you need to know. From how to avoid Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) such as Chlamydia, getting to grips with contraception, to being clear about your sexuality, it can all seem a bit daunting.
We have clinics in many locations throughout the region. All patients from any area are invited to attend the service and people of all ages are welcome, including under 16 year olds.
Confidentiality means not telling anyone else about anything you have said to us or about the information we have about you. Occasionally there may be exceptional circumstances when we are required by law to share your information - for example if we get information that suggests that you or another are at serious risk of harm, we may have to discuss this with other services in order to protect you.
Please note that the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust continues to manage the treatment of patients in the Chester area with a confirmed HIV positive result.
The Countess appointments line can be reached via 01244 363091. Support for those living with HIV in Cheshire and North Wales is also provided by charity Body Positive - click here for more information.

Many local businesses and organisations are helping to raise awareness of our services to their customers and clients.
This is often by displaying promotional materials around their premises and sharing vital sexual health and contraception information through their newsletters and social media channels.

We recognise that many of our patients do not identify as male or female and that subsequently our appointment booking system does not cater to the needs of all our patients. We are currently working to resolve this and improve our service. In the meantime we ask that you please bear with us while our systems are upgraded.
