Registered Healthcare Practitioners whose role involves administering and/or advising on immunisations and vaccination
What will I learn
The course reflects the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Registered Healthcare Practitioners (Public Health England, Revised February 2018). Completion of the Immunisation foundation course or equivalent is a pre-course requirement.
Course Content:
- Current issues in vaccination
- Recent epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases
- Any changes to the National Immunisation Schedule
- Any changes to legislation relevant to vaccination
- Review of current practice and identification of areas for improvement
- Q&A session for commonly encountered questions
