Immunisation Update for Registered Healthcare Practitioners

Delivered by a virtual learning platform (MS Teams)

 

Who should attend: Registered Healthcare Practitioners  whose role involves administering and / or advising on immunisations and vaccination

What will I learn: The course reflects the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Registered Healthcare Practitioners (Public Health England, Revised February 2018). Completion of the Immunisation foundation course or equivalent is a pre-course requirement.

Course Content:

  • Current issues in vaccination
  • Recent epidemiology of vaccine preventable diseases
  • Any changes to the National Immunisation Schedule
  • Any changes to legislation relevant to vaccination
  • Review of current practice and identification of areas for improvement
  • Q&A session for commonly encountered questions

How much will it cost to attend: £65 per person

How long will the course take to complete: 3 hours.

Delegates must access to a computer with a speaker.

How often should I attend: Annually

 

Delegates will be emailed an invitation with instructions of how to join and course material.
