Jaydess (Coil)

Jaydess® is a small T-shaped plastic device known as an intrauterine system or IUS for short. It sits inside the womb and continuously releases small amounts of a synthetic progestogen called levonorgestrel. Progestogens are hormones involved in the regulation of your menstrual cycle. Jaydess® is an effective form of contraception. Overall, you are likely to have a gradual reduction in the amount and number of days of bleeding each month. Some women eventually find that periods stop altogether.
