Further disruption lies ahead as junior doctor and consultant strike action looms throughout August

Unions have announced a four-day walkout of junior doctors from 7am on Friday 11th August until 7am on Tuesday, 15th August. This action will be quickly followed by a 48-hour strike by hospital consultants from 7am on Thursday, 24th August to 7am on Saturday, 26th August.

NHS England has confirmed the appointment of Anya Ahmed as a Non-Executive Director of East Cheshire NHS Trust.   Working with Chair, Aislinn O’Dwyer, alongside the Trust’s Executive team, Anya will help the organisation to deliver the five-year Trust Strategy - ‘Our Healthy Future Together’.
