If you are visiting a loved one who is staying as an inpatient at either Macclesfield District General Hospital or on the Aston Unit at Congleton War Memorial Hospital, you will need to check the visiting arrangements for the area you plan to visit.
The local visiting arrangements for the area you wish to visit will advise on how many visitors can attend at one time, what times during the day visitors can attend, and anything else you may need to be aware of.

For any area at Macclesfield District General Hospital, please call the switchboard on: 01625 421000 and ask for the ward/area you wish to visit, you will then be connected with a member of staff in this area who can confirm the visiting arrangements, and answer any questions you may have.
For the Aston Unit at Congleton War Memorial Hospital, please call: 01260 294838 to speak to a member of staff on the unit. You can also call: 01260 297838 to speak to a member of staff in the main office.
Please note, when you are visiting a loved one at one of our sites, you will be asked to adhere to handwashing guidance to protect both yourself and patients in the area you're visiting. You may also be asked by staff to observe guidance in avoiding certain areas within the area you're visiting, or in some cases be asked to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that staff provide you with, this is to prevent the spread of infection where necessary.
