East Cheshire NHS Trust is delighted to confirm that, alongside the continuation of Podiatry services, Maternity and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services have returned locally to Poynton.
The named Physiotherapy services were reinstated as of Friday 10th May, and Maternity services followed on the 16th May in a new contract with Middlewood Partnership.
Priority will initially be given to those patients who have found accessing these services the most difficult in recent months. However, residents in the East Cheshire locality will continue to be offered appointments across a variety of locations in line with our access policy, and Poynton has been reinstated as one of those locations.
As a Trust, access to healthcare for our local community is a priority and the return of these services to Poynton demonstrates our commitment to provide the right care in the right place at the right time.
