Please be advised that the Undercroft road will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic until Sunday 9th November, due to essential building works related to the new Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU).
For health and safety reasons, no access will be permitted through this section during the closure period. Estates are working closely with operational teams to arrange suitable alternatives for those who usually use this route.
Contractors will also be carrying out essential road repairs to a section of the hospital’s access road from Monday 10th to Sunday 23rd November.
The section of the road (shown in the image) will be closed whilst these repairs are carried out, with access to the Emergency Department taking place via Victoria Road only and most of the remaining areas of the site only being accessed from Fieldbank Road.
