Congleton War Memorial Hospital is celebrating 100 years of service on 22nd May 2024. The hospital was built in 1924 and paid for by the local community as a memorial to the 243 local people killed in the First World War. The hospital remains an essential part of Congleton and we’re keen to celebrate its past, present and future.
