This is a safety measure that allows the crane to rotate freely in windy conditions to prevent unnecessary stresses. East Cheshire NHS Trust has installed a second CT scanner in Macclesfield District General Hospital’s radiology department.

The £900,000 redevelopment project to improve the Outpatients Department at Macclesfield Hospital is now complete.
